Community services
CPSCA is a not-for-profit apolitical community organisation run by volunteers that represents over 5000 Punjabi-speaking residents of the Australian Capital Territory (ACT) hinterland.
The main aim of CPSCA is to provide a platform for experiencing and participating in traditional Punjabi sports, culture and food thereby adding to the rich multicultural attributes of the ACT hinterland, promoting a sense of belonging, and empowering participants to value their heritage while building their confidence to contribute positively.

Our all-inclusive and holistic approach to individual’s and community development is unique and exemplary.
Canberra Khed (sports) Mela
Post-pandemic, the need was felt to re-start Canberra Khed Mela. In additins, CPSCA also wants to bring the Annual Sikh Games to Canberra by 2027.
Socio-Cultural & Literary Events
This year’s Royal was the fifth alcohol-free family RPD. The cultural program usually involves local Canberran talent and renowned Punjabi singers live in concert.
Festivals & Environment
To celebrate the Gurpurb, CPSCA organised a plantation drive at Guru Ka Bag, which was established at John Knight Park to mark the 551 st Gurpurb of Guru Nanak Dev ji.
