After the resounding success in 2022, the 4th Canberra Khed Mela (CKM) is being held again. The Canberra Punjabi Sports and Cultural Association (CPSCA) is bringing the CKM to the Canberra community on Sunday 1 October 2023.
The third CKM was magnificently organised and overwhelmingly attended by thousand of people from interstate on 16th October 2022 At Hall Show Grounds. Second CKM was organised in 2015 at Dickson Sports Grounds. Again 4 Kabbadi teams, Two Soccer teams , Kids and women Athletics was organised. The prise distribution ceremony was attended by staff from Indian and Pakistan High Commissions, community leaders and local MLAs. The Rain disrupted some part od the Festival, but it was attended by 1000 Canberrans and interstate visitors.
Organised first Canberra Khed Mela (CKM) in March 2015 bat Deakin Grounds. It was successful festival with 4 Kabbadi Teams, four Soccer teams and Kids Athletics. About 500 Canberran Attended this Khed Mela. Attended by Indian and Pakistan High Commissioners and Local MLAs.
